Japanese garden course at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh 2020
An introduction to Japanese gardens
This course will look at the history, design, styles and plants found in the gardens of Japan. It will also involve a walk around the Royal Edinburgh Botanic Garden to look at the Japanese plants growing there.
It will be illustrated by images I have taken on my seven trips to over 60 gardens in different parts of Japan but mostly concentrating on the gardens of Kyoto.
May 11th 2019 has now run and the 2020 May course date will be confirmed soon.
Course runs on Saturday from 10am to 4pm
